I used to collect stamps when I was a kid. All the students were kind of crazy in exchanging stamps from their home country and it became a popular thing in my primary school. All my friends were from different countries around the world, so I have the chance to have beautiful stamps from all the places even I haven't been to before.
This is a stamp from Japan, I found it from an envelop from my office. The diamond shape firstly attacted me, then I look at the stamp carefully, I found out this stamp is a memorial stamp of the Emperor & Queen of Japan.
I quickly took it out before someone took it to donate to the post office. When I saw this stamp, waht I think of is to give it to my grandmother. My grandmother is the one who let me have the interest of collecting stamps, and I can remember that I used to have many talks about stamps with my grandmother when I was a kid. But somehow, all these talks had disappeared....
There are many letters been sending to my office everyday, so this is a good chance for me start collecting stamps once more. Collecting stamps sounds old fashioned but I think stamp is also a kind of art which worth for us to keep them as our precious.
